Duties
- Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art designs
- Apply color theory principles to recommend and create custom nail designs that complement clients’ styles and preferences
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or hair styling to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Engage with clients through excellent communication skills, understanding their needs and providing personalized recommendations
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, or beauty accessories to boost sales and enhance client results
- Stay current on industry trends including nail care innovations, esthetic laser treatments, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion techniques, and barbering styles to provide cutting-edge services
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology license or certification with specialization in nail technology (Nail Tech certification preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of nail care techniques, color theory, sanitation practices, and current beauty trends
- Experience with retail sales and upselling strategies to promote products confidently
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build lasting client relationships
- Ability to perform detailed work efficiently while maintaining a lively and positive attitude
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion procedures, or hair styling is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining a clean workspace
