Now Hiring: Cashier / Beer Manager - Oxford Liquors (Manchester, CT)
Oxford Liquors, a busy neighborhood liquor store on Hartford Rd in Manchester, is hiring friendly, reliable people to join our team. Whether you're an experienced retail cashier or a craft-beer enthusiast ready to run our beer section, we'd love to meet you. Full-time and part-time positions available with flexible scheduling - we're hiring immediately.
Pay: $17-$20/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time or part-time; weekday, evening, and weekend shifts available
What you'll do:
- Greet and assist customers and ring up sales at the register
- Recommend beer, wine, and spirits and answer customer questions
- Manage and stock the beer section (rotating up to ~200 cases per week)
- Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Check IDs and follow all responsible-sales laws
What we're looking for:
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused
- Able to lift and move cases of product (up to ~40 lbs)
- Retail, cashier, or customer-service experience is a plus - but we're happy to train the right person
- Beer/wine knowledge is a bonus, not required
- Must be of legal age to sell alcohol in Connecticut
