What You’ll Do
- Implement individualized ABA interventions to support clients in building skills and reducing challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and fellow team members to provide consistent, compassionate care.
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation to track progress.
- Receive specialized training in ABA best practices, behavior management, and crisis support.
Training & Development Pathways
- No ABA experience? No problem! We’ll train you AND pay you while you learn! If you’re new to the field, we’ll set you up for success with an extended training plan, including:
- 40-hour online RBT curriculum (paid).
- 10+ hours of shadow sessions with experienced staff.
- Paid time at a non-billable training rate until you’re ready to take on your own caseload.
- ***Having 6+ months of ABA experience allows staff to transition more quickly into new roles, and access opportunities for larger caseloads. This experience also opens the door to working with a wider variety of funding sources, expanding both professional growth and client impact.
What We’re Looking For/Qualification
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
- Experience in ABA or working with individuals with behavioral challenges preferred, not required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation (with at least 5 years of driving history in California) and ability to transport clients in your personal vehicle.
- Physical ability to lift 20 lbs, bend, squat, and remain active for extended periods.
- Must complete Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
