What We Offer

About the Role
As the Landscape Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple landscape maintenance crews, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.
You will supervise nine four-person maintenance crews, together with 10+ Groundskeepers based at hotels and condominium properties.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring regular site visits, staff training, quality control, scheduling, and client interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all landscape maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Plan, organise, and monitor daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Develop and manage maintenance programmes tailored to each client and property.
- Coordinate maintenance routes, schedules, and additional works to maximise efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and develop staff through both practical field instruction and formal training.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming their primary point of contact for landscape maintenance services.
- Conduct regular quality inspections to ensure company standards are consistently achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of tropical horticulture, plant care, irrigation, fertilisation, pest and disease management, and the safe use of pesticides and herbicides.
- Assist with problem-solving, resource planning, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- Minimum 5 years' commercial landscape maintenance or horticultural experience
- Previous experience supervising landscape or grounds maintenance teams
- Full, valid driver's licence
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to mentor, motivate, and develop staff
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements within landscape maintenance
- Practical knowledge of pesticides, herbicides, fertilisers, irrigation, and tropical plant care
Desirable
- Formal horticultural qualifications, certificates, or relevant industry training
- Experience managing multiple maintenance crews and client portfolios
- Experience working on high-end residential or commercial landscape maintenance contracts
- Clear criminal record history (required for Cayman Islands work permit processing)
- Must be willing to permanently relocate to the Cayman Islands.
