Position Summary
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and able to complete clinical notes accurately and efficiently. We are seeking a team player who can keep procedures running smoothly, communicate effectively with patients, and support the dentist in delivering high-quality care.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
- Enter clinical notes and treatment information accurately and efficiently
- Complete procedure notes promptly and ensure patient charts are up to date
- Educate patients on treatment plans and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with scheduling and patient flow as needed
- Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Work closely with the team to create an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification preferred
- Strong computer skills and ability to type efficiently
- Ability to complete clinical notes accurately and in a timely manner
- Experience with Open Dental is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
