Synergy Mental Health & Wellness Integrated (SMHWI) is a physician-led, rapidly growing mental health practice providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care throughout Texas and Colorado. Our services include face-to-face and telepsychiatry appointments in our outpatient clinics, as well as psychiatric services for affiliated behavioral health organizations, including Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), residential treatment centers, and addiction treatment facilities.

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, professional, punctual, and passionate about providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients with a wide range of mental health conditions.
Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychiatric medications as clinically indicated.
Provide medication management and supportive psychotherapy.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, and treatment teams to coordinate patient care.
Evaluate patients for appropriate levels of care, including outpatient, IOP, PHP, residential treatment, and inpatient hospitalization when indicated.
Provide psychiatric services through telehealth visits.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (Valant experience preferred, Kipu).
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical meetings.
Stay current with psychiatric treatment guidelines, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based practices.
Adhere to all clinic policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in Texas required.
Colorado PMHNP license or eligibility for licensure is strongly preferred.
Master's or Doctorate in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health specialization.
Active DEA registration and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
Experience providing outpatient psychiatric care is preferred.
Experience treating patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric illnesses is strongly preferred.
Experience in addiction medicine, PHP, or IOP settings is highly desirable.
Strong diagnostic, psychopharmacology, and clinical assessment skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation abilities.
Experience using electronic health records (Valant preferred).
Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
