We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing thorough patient workups, enjoys staying engaged throughout the clinic day, and understands the important role technicians play in supporting both the physician and the patient.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys learning, appreciates clear expectations and feedback, and wants to be part of a team actively improving its workflows and clinical processes.
Strong preference for Mandarin speaking candidates, but not a requirement.

- Prepare patients and exam rooms for the physician
- Anticipate physician and patient needs to support efficient clinic flow
- Accurately document information in the electronic medical record
- Assist with procedures and patient education as needed
- Communicate changes, concerns, and urgent clinical information appropriately
- Work collaboratively with technicians, front desk staff, management, and the physician
- Remain flexible as patient needs and clinic flow change throughout the day
- Participate in ongoing training, coaching, and workflow improvement
What We're Looking For
- Previous ophthalmology or optometry technician experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of ophthalmic terminology and patient workups
- Comfortable working in a growing and evolving clinical environment
- Able to receive and apply feedback professionally
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Reliable, engaged, and willing to take initiative
- Patient-focused and compassionate
- Professional and respectful communication style
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support clinic needs
- Comfortable working in a busy clinic where patient needs may occasionally require flexibility
COA, COT, or COMT certification is a plus but not required for candidates with strong ophthalmic experience.
The Right Fit
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of patient care and understands that a strong technician can significantly impact the physician's efficiency, the patient's experience, and the success of the entire clinic.
Our team is focused on growth, consistency, and creating clearer clinical standards. The right candidate will be excited to contribute ideas, continue developing their skills, and be part of building a strong clinical team.
