Yes—you'll actually drive a real hearse while leading guests through one of the country's most unique ghost tours.
This is not a "read a script" tour guide position. Our Ghost Hosts build their own tours using company training, approved material, and their own personality. We're looking for self-starters who are curious, motivated, and excited to continually learn Savannah's ghost stories, legends, and history. If you're someone who enjoys learning, takes initiative, and loves entertaining people, you'll thrive here.

What You'll Do
- Drive a hearse through Savannah's Historic District while hosting a 75-minute ghost tour.
- Learn Savannah's haunted history, legends, and local folklore.
- Develop your own unique tour presentation using company training and approved material.
- Entertain guests with your personality and storytelling ability.
- Provide outstanding customer service from start to finish.
- Keep tours running safely and on schedule.
- Help create an experience guests will remember—and review.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is:
- A self-starter who takes initiative without constant supervision.
- Motivated to independently study Savannah's ghost stories, legends, and history.
- Curious and excited to continue learning throughout the season.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups.
- Naturally engaging, confident, and personable.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Someone who enjoys learning and is always looking to improve.
- Able to accept coaching and feedback.
- Available to work weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable driving a large vehicle after training.
- Must successfully complete company training and audition tour.
Essential Job Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle (hearse) during tours.
- Speak clearly to groups for extended periods.
- Assist guests entering and exiting the vehicle.
- Open and close heavy vehicle doors.
- Walk short distances and navigate curbs and steps.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Maintain a professional appearance while in costume.
Training
No previous tour guide experience is required.
We provide training on our route, safety procedures, and research resources to help you build your own tour. Success in this position depends on your willingness to learn, practice, research, and continually improve your storytelling.
Schedule
- Part-time / Seasonal
- Hiring for Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday availability.
- Up to 5 days per week.
Compensation
- $25.00-$27.00 per hour
