Direct Support Professional / Community Coach

Key Support Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals and Community Coaches to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. We have real openings now for daytime, evening, weekend, full-time, part-time, and short-shift schedules based on current service needs. This is hands-on, heart-forward work. You may help someone build daily living skills, make choices, enjoy their community, stay safe, follow routines, practice communication, or become more independent at home or in their community.
We are hiring for:
Full-Time Day Support
Monday–Friday daytime opportunities, including in-home and community coaching.
Part-Time Evening Support
Afternoon and evening shifts, including after-school, home routines, and skill-building support.
Weekend Support
Weekend-only options available for staff who want steady part-time hours.
Short Shift Skill-Building Support
Great for staff looking for 1–3 days per week, morning hours, or smaller weekly hours.
Experienced DSP / Behavioral Support Roles
Some assignments require calm, confident staff experienced with behavioral support plans, redirection, elopement prevention, seizure awareness, youth support, or higher supervision needs.
You may be a great fit if you are:
Dependable, patient, and respectful
Comfortable supporting people at home and in the community
Able to encourage independence without taking over
Calm during challenging moments
Willing to document services accurately
Interested in meaningful work, not just clocking in and out
Requirements:
Must be 18 or older
Reliable transportation required
Valid driver’s license and positive driving record required
Ability to pass required background checks
CPR/First Aid preferred
DSP, CNA, PCA, caregiving, behavioral support, mental health, education, or human services experience is a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Direct Care: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- VA Drivers license and POSITIVE driving record (Required)
