Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Monticello Apartments. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure our properties remain in working condition. You will play a vital role in supporting our mission of providing high-quality living and working environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical work.
- Conduct inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Execute carpentry work including drywall installation, trim carpentry, and framing.
- Operate equipment as needed for property maintenance projects.
- Install fixtures and perform finishing as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with property management to prioritize maintenance requests/issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in property management or construction.
- Strong knowledge of building systems including plumbing and electrical
- Skilled in carpentry, drywall installation, painting and general repair work.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
