Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retail Merchandiser with travel flexibility to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing visual merchandising strategies, managing store displays, and ensuring brand standards are consistently met across multiple retail locations. Your expertise will help enhance the customer shopping experience, optimize product presentation, and support sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel regularly to various retail stores to execute merchandising plans and ensure compliance with planograms
- Design and implement attractive visual displays using tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Assist in remodeling and interior design projects to improve store layouts and aesthetics
- Train store staff on merchandising standards, planogram implementation, and visual design techniques
- Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and material handling to maintain optimal product availability
- Operate material handling equipment safely, including ladders and standard passenger cars for transportation between locations
- Conduct regular store visits to assess cleanliness, branding consistency, and overall store presentation
- Collaborate with store management teams to develop customized merchandising solutions aligned with brand guidelines
- Support sales initiatives through effective product placement, pricing strategies, and promotional displays
- Utilize mobile devices for reporting, inventory management, and communication with the corporate team
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in retail merchandising or store management roles
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for visual design tasks
- Strong background in marketing principles and visual merchandising techniques
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication across diverse markets
- Knowledge of schematics, planogram creation, and planogram implementation processes
- Experience in remodeling or interior design within retail environments
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely; comfortable with heavy lifting when necessary
- Familiarity with retail sales processes, POS systems, inventory control, and cash handling procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and team training purposes
- Basic math skills for pricing adjustments, inventory counts, and sales analysis
- Previous retail store experience is preferred; familiarity with customer service standards is advantageous
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with headquarters
