We have partnered with a well-established Southern New Hampshire law firm in search to hire a Trust & Estate Attorney! This is an opportunity for an attorney who enjoys client-facing work, sophisticated planning matters, and end-to-end estate administration within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
- Manage estate and trust administration, including probate filings, asset transfers, and fiduciary accountings
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings and estate-related disputes
- Draft and review estate planning documents for legal and tax compliance
- Provide guidance on estate/gift tax planning, asset protection, and charitable strategies
- Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals on wealth planning strategies
Qualifications
- J.D. and admission to the New Hampshire Bar (or eligibility for admission)
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration
- Strong understanding of New Hampshire probate and tax laws
- Excellent drafting, research, and client communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
