Field Pipe Welder / Pipefitter – Carbon Steel Piping Project
H&Z Materials Inc. is looking for an experienced field pipe welder / pipefitter for a short-term industrial installation project in Wellsville, Ohio.
The project involves completing carbon steel piping connections for a new industrial facility installation.
Responsibilities:
- Review existing pipe fit-up conditions and provide professional recommendations
- Perform pipe alignment and adjustments as needed
- Complete field welding of carbon steel piping
- Perform quality welding work according to industry standards
- Support safe and efficient completion of installation work
Project scope includes:
- Carbon steel piping
- Pipe sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 8 inch
- Approximately 40 pipe weld joints and several structural support welds
Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial piping installation
- Experience with carbon steel pipe welding
- Ability to perform field welding work independently
- Pipefitting and pipe alignment experience preferred
Project Details:
- Temporary project (initially 1–3 days)
- Additional work may be available for qualified individuals
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
