Expectations of the Security Officer
In this role, you will help protect client properties, maintain a visible security presence, conduct patrols, document activity, and respond professionally to issues as they come up.
Security Officers are expected to remain alert, follow post orders, communicate clearly, and provide dependable service throughout their assigned shift.

Full-time and part-time positions
Weekend and holiday availability required
Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to work at different locations throughout San Diego County as needed.
Pay and Bonus Opportunity
Base pay ranges from $19.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on post assignment, experience, availability, and overall fit.
In addition to hourly pay, Security Officers may be eligible for KPI performance bonuses of up to $4,000 extra per year.
KPI bonuses are based on measurable performance factors such as attendance, professionalism, report quality, post performance, client feedback, and overall reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a professional and visible security presence at assigned locations.
Conduct foot patrols and property checks according to post orders.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, maintenance issues, rule violations, and unusual activity.
Use mobile security reporting software to complete daily activity reports, patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, clients, residents, visitors, employees, and law enforcement when needed.
Follow all post orders, company policies, client expectations, and supervisor instructions.
Respond to incidents calmly, professionally, and within company guidelines.
Escalate issues appropriately and request support when needed.
Maintain a clean uniform, professional appearance, and dependable attendance.
Represent City Wide Protection Services with professionalism, patience, and accountability.
Qualifications
Valid California Guard Card preferred.
1-2 years of security experience preferred.
Smartphone with internet access required.
Reliable transportation required.
Open availability preferred, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to work swing shift, overnight shift, or both.
Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert during the shift.
Comfortable using mobile apps or security reporting software.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Professional communication skills.
Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

Paid sick leave: 48 hours, which is 24 hours more than the California state minimum. Eligible after 90 days.
