Storage Corner Group is a vertically integrated, research-driven real estate investment firm specializing in self-storage acquisitions. We execute an aggregation strategy — identifying and acquiring under-performing self-storage properties and repositioning them through operational and physical improvements. We have active teams in California, Utah, and Idaho and are expanding into new target markets.
Position Overview
We are looking for a mature, experienced cold calling professional with a proven track record of building relationships with investment property owners. This is not an entry-level role. We need someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, establishing genuine rapport with sophisticated property owners, and converting those conversations into acquisition opportunities.
You will be the first point of contact for owners of self-storage properties in our target markets, working from the Firm's proprietary ownership database. Your ability to earn trust, handle objections, and keep owners engaged over a long sales cycle is what will make you successful here.
What You'll Do
- Owner Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to investment property owners using our proprietary database; build relationships, qualify interest, and advance owners through the acquisition pipeline
- Relationship Management: Maintain consistent follow-up with property owners over time; track all contacts, conversations, and deal status in our database
- Broker Liaison: Develop and maintain relationships with commercial real estate brokers to surface off-market opportunities
- Meeting Coordination: Set qualified meetings and introductions for the acquisitions leadership team
- Market Research: Support investment analyses, review offering materials, and assist with underwriting and due diligence as needed
Who We're Looking For
This role requires someone who has done this before — specifically calling owners of investment or commercial real estate. Please only apply if you meet the following:
- Minimum 3–5 years of cold calling experience, with a significant portion spent calling commercial or investment real estate owners (not residential, not B2B SaaS, not fundraising)
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly with experienced, sophisticated property owners who receive many unsolicited calls
- Comfortable with a long relationship cycle — many owners will take months or years to transact; you must be patient, persistent, and organized
- Strong verbal communication skills and professional phone presence; you can hold your own in a conversation with a seasoned investor
- Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Google SuiteFamiliarity with commercial real estate concepts (cap rates, NOI, property valuation) strongly preferredSelf-motivated with strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
