Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a NCR/CAR Technician opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

NCR/CAR (Nonconformance Report/Corrective Action Report) Technician-
NCR/CAR Technician will support a multi-year construction project involving significant civil, mechanical, and electrical construction, including grading, storm drainage, demolition, earthwork, ductbanks, firewater, service water, process piping, electrical systems, and associated site infrastructure.
Duties:
- Support administration and tracking of project Nonconformance Reports (NCRs), Corrective Action Reports (CARs), and associated quality issues.
- Enter, update, and maintain NCR/CAR information in project quality tracking systems and databases.
- Verify required information, documentation, approvals, dispositions, corrective actions, and objective evidence are captured and maintained with each record.
- Track NCR/CAR assignments, actions, due dates, aging, and closure status.
- Coordinate documentation and status updates with Quality, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Document Control, subcontractors, and other responsible organizations.
- Maintain logs, status reports, aging reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with preparation of NCR/CAR metrics, quality trends, and management reports.
- Assemble documentation packages for review, approval, closure, audits, surveillances, and assessments.
- Maintain traceability and configuration of NCR/CAR records and associated supporting documentation.
- Identify incomplete, overdue, or missing documentation and coordinate with responsible personnel for resolution.
- Support retrieval of NCR/CAR records and objective evidence during audits and project reviews.
- Ensure quality records are processed and maintained in accordance with project procedures and applicable records requirements.
Skills/Experience:
- Experience supporting quality, engineering, construction, document control, corrective action, or other technical project functions.
- Experience maintaining technical records, databases, tracking systems, or controlled documentation.
- Ability to review documentation for completeness, accuracy, approvals, and required supporting information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document, records, or quality management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous NCR, CAR, nonconformance, corrective action, or quality records experience.
- Experience supporting DOE, nuclear, industrial construction, or another highly regulated environment.
- Familiarity with ASME NQA-1 and DOE quality requirements.
- Experience with quality metrics, status reporting, and aging reports.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a technical, quality, business, or related field.
- Previous Savannah River Site or other DOE site.
