Our KidStart Program has provided vital services to Arc GLOW’s youngest population and their families for over 45 years. Programs within KidStart include Early Intervention, Preschool Special Education, Head Start, and Evaluation. KidStart is dedicated to providing a healthy, nurturing environment where all children can grow and function at their individual best. Our School Psychologist worked within the Evaluation Center’s Diagnostic team assessing children referred for initial evaluations and re-evaluations.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
WHAT WOULD I BE DOING?
· Consult with internal staff regarding individual and classroom management needs, social-emotional education, behavior programs and related concerns.
· Administers psychological (educational) evaluations to preschool students as referred by their school districts
· Collaborates with and provides input to the Evaluation Team and completes written reports in a timely manner.
· Working to create a trauma-informed environment that meets the social and emotional needs of children.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGISTS:
· Licensed as a Psychologist in New York State OR permanent School Psychologist Certification by New York State Education Department.
· Valid NYS driver's license with a safe driving record
