Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid commission based role for a Business Broker at Sunbelt Business Brokers of Greater Boston, MA & RI. As a Business Broker, you'll play a critical role in assisting business owners with valuing, marketing, and selling their businesses. This role is perfect for motivated self-starters with a passion for entrepreneurship, sales, and deal-making. Exciting parts of the role include:
- Source and secure engagement agreements with business owners through networking, direct marketing, and various forms of contact.
- Evaluate a business from a financial and operational perspective to develop an opinion of market value utilizing various databases of industry specific comps
- Once an engagement agreement is executed, brokers will market the business via Sunbelt’s print, digital, and online sources.
- Screen, develop and work with potential business buyers, including individuals, private equity, family offices and strategic buyers for businesses actively marketed for sale.
- Work with sellers, buyers, bankers, accountants, attorneys, and landlords in the negotiation process and ensure successful transaction completion.

Successful business brokers make serious 6 figure income and typically work "banker's hours".

Qualifications
- Prior sales experience or experience owning or managing a business is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Known to be persistent and resilient

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
