Job Title: Logistics Dispatcher
Job Summary:A Logistics Dispatcher coordinates the movement of vehicles, drivers, and shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. They communicate with drivers, customers, warehouses, and transportation providers while monitoring schedules, routes, and shipment status.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and equipment to delivery locations.
- Monitor shipment progress and track vehicles using GPS and dispatch software.
- Communicate with drivers regarding routes, schedules, delays, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and freight movements.
- Resolve transportation issues such as delays, breakdowns, and route changes.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver logs, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Provide customers with shipment updates and delivery confirmations.
- Work closely with warehouse personnel, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety requirements is preferred.

Pay: $23.56 - $25.37 per hour
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
