Primarily assists the medical & therapeutic staff with technical medical duties, paperwork and processes. Interacts with clients and vendors as well as other support staff.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Clear speaking voice in the English language.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly express thoughts to others and exchange information.
- Ability to maintain good working relationship with clients, co-workers, associates and managers.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware, telephone systems, computer software, including MS Office Suite, scheduling software, RxNT and other job-specific software, as well as Mac platform.
- Awareness and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Awareness and understanding of DEA regulations.
- Ability to work with money and cash receipts; must be bondable.
- Hold updated required licenses and certifications.
- Ability to dress in a professional manner.
- Valid driver’s license, valid automobile insurance and good driving record.
- Demonstrated record of good work attendance and reliability.
- Flexible work habits and work schedule.
- This position requires a professional demeanor and an orientation toward customer service.
- Experience in addiction environment helpful.
- Minimum level of Education: appropriate medical technical degree and certification
- Minimum level of Experience: 2 years prior experience in medical field, including phlebotomy, experience in office environment helpful
