Full Time Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting and preparing lab specimens, and administering medications as directed by healthcare provider.
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures.
- Provide basic life support and first aid in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Assist with coding and billing processes. Assist the Doctor's taking and closing notes.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide quality patient care.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
