Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and service spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain high standards of floor care by sweeping, buffing, and polishing different types of flooring to ensure a pristine appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to guarantee guest comfort and operational efficiency
- Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure safety and hygiene standards are consistently met
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain the highest level of cleanliness
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing various flooring types
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred for understanding guest service expectations
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and safe chemical handling practices
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
