At PM Lube, LLC / Valvoline Instant Oil Change Plus, we are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor who can build trust with customers, communicate repair recommendations clearly, and help our team deliver an exceptional service experience.
The Service Advisor serves as the bridge between our customers and technicians—guiding the repair process from vehicle check-in through delivery while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
What You’ll Do
- Greet customers and build rapport
- Perform vehicle intake and document customer concerns
- Review inspection results and present repair recommendations
- Create estimates and obtain customer authorization
- Communicate repair status and timelines
- Coordinate workflow with technicians and management
- Follow up on declined services and future maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive service advising experience preferred
- Sales and customer service experience required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Comfortable presenting maintenance and repair recommendations
- Organized and able to manage multiple customers simultaneously
- Experience with RO Writer, or similar shop management software is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
