About the Role
2000 GOLD LLC is seeking an experienced Safety Representative to join our on-site operations team supporting electrical construction activities at the TSMC F21 semiconductor facility in Phoenix, AZ.
This is a hands-on, field-based role — you will work side-by-side with the operations team to proactively identify, correct, and prevent safety risks or violations before they escalate into hazards or incidents. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and highly responsive in maintaining compliance with TSMC EHS standards, OSHA regulations, and NFPA 70E requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Accompany and observe on-site electrical crews to ensure full compliance with EHS, OSHA, and TSMC safety requirements
- Identify and correct potential safety risks or violations immediately, ensuring hazards are addressed in a timely and effective manner
- Conduct daily safety walks, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning with foremen and electricians
- Monitor PPE use, LOTO practices, grounding, and energized work to ensure compliance
- Deliver new-hire orientation and ongoing electrical safety training
- Perform and document safety inspections, incident investigations, and near-miss reports
- Participate in TSMC site safety meetings, audits, and inspections
- Maintain accurate and organized safety documentation, JHAs, and training records
- Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain a strong, proactive safety culture
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction safety (electrical or semiconductor environment preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour certification required; OSHA 500/501 preferred
- NFPA 70E electrical safety training (minimum 6-hour course)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification required
- Demonstrated experience with energized work, LOTO, and arc-flash procedures
- Familiarity with multi-employer jobsite (MEJ) coordination
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) a plus
Compliance Requirements
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Employment eligibility will be verified through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program
Work Environment
- On-site field position with daily coordination alongside electrical crews
- Must be able to walk job sites, climb ladders, and wear full PPE
- Occasional night or weekend work may be required depending on project schedule
Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
