Overview
Jacobs & MZ Holdings is seeking dependable, detail‑oriented Delivery Drivers to complete local delivery routes. We partner with drivers operating larger SUVs, covered pickup trucks, minivans, and similar vehicles capable of safely handling daily package volume.
All packages are picked up from the Meadville Hub:
157 Westview Drive, Meadville, PA 16335
Drivers then complete delivery routes south of Meadville (Mercer, Grove City, Slippery Rock, Hubbard, New Wilmington, Hermitage).
$250 sign‑on bonus after 30 days.
Our drivers represent our company at every stop, ensuring safe driving, accurate deliveries, and professional customer interactions.
Duties
- Operate your vehicle safely and responsibly while completing assigned delivery routes
- Load and unload packages using proper lifting techniques
- Follow all route instructions, delivery procedures, and safety standards
- Communicate professionally with customers and maintain a positive attitude
- Accurately scan and record all deliveries, returns, and route completion details
- Perform basic daily checks on your vehicle to ensure it is safe and route‑ready
Qualifications
- Must provide your own reliable vehicle (SUV, covered pickup truck, minivan, or similar) with valid insurance
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow detailed instructions and route plans
Vehicle Support Program
Jacobs & MZ Holdings offers vehicle financing assistance for drivers who demonstrate 30 days of steady, reliable employment. This program helps committed drivers upgrade into vehicles that meet route requirements and support long‑term success.
Gas Assistance Program
We understand that waiting for your first payroll cycle can be challenging. To support new drivers during this period, Jacobs & MZ Holdings provides gas assistance to help offset fuel costs while you complete your routes. Gas assistance is available during your initial payroll cycle and is issued based on route completion and need.
