Location: Broken Arrow, Ok - with travel
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller with extensive banking and financial services expertise, responsible for overseeing financial reporting, regulatory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and internal controls. Proven ability to drive financial performance, ensure compliance with banking regulations, and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and Oversee the Accounting Department
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile the Federal Reserve account and all other correspondent bank accounts.
- Maintain and reconcile the Holding Company Financials
- Manage Fixed Assets
- Balance the Bond Portfolio/ Enter security transactions.
- Prepare Quarterly Call Report
- Lead coordination of Internal Audits
- Work with garnishments, tax levies, DHS levies and backup withholding.
- Close out Month End and Year end Financials.
- Prepare Monthly Board reports I Quarterly Asset Liability reports.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Proven ability to develop sound policies, practices, and procedures, improved operating controls, productivity, and/or efficiency.
- Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional skills in creating reports and recommendations for the Board of Directors and/or Audit Committee, as required.
Travel: weekly travel to other locations within Oklahoma
