We are seeking a Bistro team member to join our dynamic and fast-paced hospitality team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. (you will also receive tips). Postion will require easy bar food cocking and must have bartending experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
2.Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
3. Do all necessary "mise en place" and side work as assigned.
4. Answer any guest questions about the menu.
5. Operate the P.O.S. system (where applicable).
6. Check food before serving it to guest to ascertain that appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
7. Complete all Service Marriott Trainings within 90 days of being hired.
8. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bistro area, including tables, chairs, and service stations
9. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic
