We are seeking an experienced Lead Cook to help oversee daily kitchen operations at our Haleiwa location. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality food with consistency and efficiency.
As our Lead Cook, you'll be responsible for executing daily service, supporting and coaching kitchen staff, maintaining food quality standards, managing kitchen flow, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. You'll work closely with the operations manager and ownership and will play a key role in maintaining the culture, systems, and standards that have made Farm To Barn a local favorite.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead daily kitchen operations during service
- Execute food preparation and cooking with consistency and speed
- Ensure all menu items meet Farm To Barn quality and presentation standards
- Train and mentor cooks, prep staff, and new team members
- Assist with scheduling, station assignments, and team accountability
- Monitor prep levels and ensure the kitchen is set up for successful service
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and Department of Health standards
- Assist with inventory counts, ordering recommendations, and waste reduction
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Step into any station when needed to support the team during busy periods
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and ownership
