Promotional Apparel & Merchandise Manager

The Promotional Apparel & Merchandise Manager works directly with customers to understand their branding needs, source merchandise and apparel options, present curated recommendations, guide product selection, and manage orders through final delivery. This role requires excellent communication, strong organization, and a service-first mindset to ensure flawless project execution and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction & Project Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone, email, and occasional in-person meetings
- Gather project requirements, branding objectives, budgets, and timelines
- Provide friendly, professional, and proactive communication throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Ensure the customer experience is positive, smooth, and highly responsive
Product Research & Presentation
- Research merchandise and apparel options using ASI, ESP, and other supplier platforms
- Curate and present product recommendations that fit customer goals
- Create professional presentation sheets using Adobe Illustrator or InDesign
- Prepare and deliver pricing, quotes, and product details to support customer decision-making
Order Processing & Production Coordination
- Enter production orders/job tickets in the EFI Pace MIS system
- Place merchandise and apparel orders with approved vendors
- Coordinate decoration and embellishment (embroidery, screen printing, etc.) for each project
- Manage timelines, proofs, approvals, and production details with accuracy
- Track order status and provide regular updates to customers
- Participate in production meetings to communicate project status and ensure on-time performance
Quality & Delivery
- Review incoming decorated merchandise for accuracy and quality
- Ensure orders meet all customer specifications and deadlines
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
Qualifications
- MINIMUM of 3 years experience in the promotional products industry (REQUIRED)
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and InDesign required)
- Experience using ASI/ESP and MIS systems (EFI Pace preferred)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
