JOB The Football Recruiting Coordinator at Hampton University is responsible for organizing, managing, and executing all aspects of the football program's recruiting operations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for recruiting administration and supports the coaching staff in attracting, evaluating, and securing prospective student-athletes who align with the academic, athletic, and cultural mission of Hampton University. The Recruiting Coordinator will ensure all recruiting activities are conducted in compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations while contributing to the continued growth and success of the Hampton University Football program.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Coordinate all recruiting activities for the football program.
- Manage recruiting databases and software platforms, including prospect information, evaluations, communication logs, and recruiting boards.
- Organize and coordinate official and unofficial campus visits for prospective student-athletes and their families.
- Assist coaching staff with identifying, evaluating, and tracking prospective student-athletes.
- Develop and maintain recruiting calendars, schedules, and communication plans.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for recruiting trips.
- Prepare recruiting materials, presentations, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with creative services and communications staff to develop recruiting content and social media strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between prospective student-athletes, coaches, admissions, financial aid, housing, and academic support units.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional recruiting rules and regulations.
- Assist with the planning and execution of recruiting events, camps, clinics, and junior days.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to recruiting activities and expenditures.
- Assist with onboarding and transition activities for incoming student-athletes.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach or General Manager
