The Social Cannabis is a Colorado-grown multi-store dispensary chain known for a premium, community-focused retail experience. With nine locations across the Denver metro area, Aurora, Brighton, Thornton, Golden, and Louisville, we bring together a passionate team of cannabis enthusiasts dedicated to exceptional customer service.
The Role
We're looking for a reliable, people-first Flex Budtender to join our team in a unique full-time, multi-location role. Rather than working a single store, you'll float across our Colorado network — stepping in where coverage is needed due to call-outs, vacations, or high-traffic days. This is an on-call position that requires someone with schedule flexibility.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced retail, learns quickly, and genuinely enjoys connecting with cannabis customers across different store environments. A central Denver location is strongly preferred, given our store footprint.
What You'll Do
- Help customers find the right product — flower, edibles, concentrates, accessories — with knowledgeable, compliant recommendations
- Ring transactions accurately using Dutchie POS in compliance with Colorado MED regulations
- Work across multiple store locations week-to-week based on scheduling needs
- Get up to speed quickly at each store — menus, promotions, and SOPs vary slightly by location
- Handle cash, open/close registers, stock product displays, and maintain a clean floor
- Represent The Social Cannabis brand consistently across every store you work in
- Open and close as needed
- Work at our corporate office from time to time as an admin or in other roles
Locations You'll Cover
- Denver: Federal, Lowry, Mississippi, Chambers
- Commerce City (Reunion)
- Golden and Louisville
You must have reliable personal transportation — public transit doesn't connect our locations.
$22/hr plus tips.
Required:
- 21 years of age or older
- Valid Colorado MED employee badge
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel across the Denver metro area
- Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional short-notice shifts
- Strong people skills and a customer-first approach
Preferred:
- 1+ year of cannabis retail or budtender experience
- Familiarity with Dutchie POS or a similar cannabis retail platform
- Experience working in multi-location or float/flex retail environments
