Overview
Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Division Foreman, where you'll lead outdoor groundskeeping and landscape maintenance projects with energy and expertise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee crew operations, manage landscaping and horticultural tasks, and ensure the highest standards of grounds care across various properties. As a key leader, you'll drive team performance and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a crew responsible for lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and grounds upkeep.
- Ensure properties are maintained to Rye Beach Landscaping’s quality standards.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during outdoor work activities and equipment operation.
- Operate and maintain equipment (zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
- Manage daily job schedules and communicate with management using LMN Crew.
- Train and mentor crew members.
- Conduct site walkthroughs and identify additional service opportunities.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
Qualifications
- Proven supervising or team management experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance with groundskeeping equipment operation including 60" mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, plant identification, tree care, gardening techniques, and landscape design.
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and efficiently across various job sites.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, and managers effectively.
