Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen tools to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables quickly during busy service times to keep the dining area inviting.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as setting up stations or assembling simple ingredients when needed.
- Support catering events or banquet setups by helping with serving or cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain cleanliness in all food service areas, including floors, counters, and storage spaces, following health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Follow proper food handling procedures and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is key!
- Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing tables or cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy meal periods.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively.
