Sales Manager - About the Role
As a Sales Manager, you’ll be the primary driver of business growth in your assigned market and account segments. Your role is hands-on: you will prospect new business, manage client relationships, and close deals that directly impact hotel performance.
You’ll own a portfolio of accounts, actively pursue new opportunities, and serve as the go-to contact for your clients — from the first conversation through post-stay follow-up. This role is about selling and delivering results, not setting company-wide sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a personal portfolio of accounts across corporate, group, and travel segments
- Prospect and convert new business through direct outreach, networking, and market visits
- Conduct property tours, site visits, and client presentations
- Collaborate with operations and revenue management to ensure guest and client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate CRM records for all assigned accounts
- Monitor and report on personal sales performance against goals
- Represent the property at local networking events and targeted industry functions
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in hotel sales, B2B account management, or hospitality business development
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software (Delphi preferred) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel locally for client engagement
