Avista Senior Living is expanding our footprint throughout the Utah County area, and we're looking for a dynamic, experienced Director of Nursing (RN) to help lead this exciting growth. About the Opportunity
As Director of Nursing, you'll oversee all clinical operations, lead a team of dedicated nursing professionals, and ensure the highest standards of resident care and regulatory compliance. You'll play a key role in building strong systems, mentoring staff, and fostering a supportive, resident-centered environment as we grow in the Utah County market.
What You'll Do

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for nursing operations

Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff to build a high-performing team

Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including survey readiness

Develop and implement care plans in partnership with residents, families, and physicians

Monitor quality indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives

Collaborate with the Executive Director and interdisciplinary team on operational goals

Manage nursing department budget, staffing, and scheduling

What We're Looking For

Active Utah RN license in good standing

Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience, preferably in senior living, skilled nursing, or assisted living

Experience with Point Click Care

Strong knowledge of state regulations and survey processes

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

A passion for senior care and building strong teams
