We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Infant/ToddlerTeacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. The Assistant Teacher will implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, ensuring each child’s individual needs are met.
Duties
- Assist with the development and implementation of engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood development standards.
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive community.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities or special education requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other educators to create an inclusive curriculum that supports all learners.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Ability to create an engaging learning environment tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
