As a Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee restaurant operations while supporting the broader Food & Beverage department, including banquet events, concerts, special events, pool operations, and resort dining venues. This leadership role is responsible for driving guest satisfaction, team performance, operational excellence, and financial results while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality and service.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Guest Service:
Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, and dining service areas.
Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service and high-quality food and beverage experiences.
Implement and maintain service standards that reflect an elevated resort dining experience.
Monitor guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
Develop staffing and operational strategies to effectively manage peak business periods, concerts, special events, and weather-related volume fluctuations.
Support banquet, catering, concert, pool, and special event operations as needed.
Leadership & Team Development:
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise Food & Beverage team members.
Foster a positive team culture focused on hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
Conduct regular training sessions focused on service standards, menu knowledge, safety, and guest engagement.
Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching, development, and corrective action when necessary.
Lead by example and create an environment where team members feel supported and empowered to succeed.
Financial Management:
Manage labor costs, scheduling efficiency, and inventory controls.
Assist with ordering food, beverages, supplies, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Monitor sales performance, food costs, beverage costs, and profitability metrics.
Implement cost-control initiatives while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning efforts.
Safety, Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
Maintain required certifications and training records for Food & Beverage team members.
Enforce ServSafe standards and proper food handling, storage, preparation, and service procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of dining rooms, kitchens, bars, storage areas, and service stations.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout all Food & Beverage operations.
Support company policies regarding alcohol service, guest safety, and risk management.
Resort & Event Support:
Assist with resort-wide events, concerts, festivals, and special programming.
Participate in the Manager-on-Duty (MOD) program as assigned.
Respond to escalated guest and team member concerns.
Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Support overall Food & Beverage department initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Culinary Management, or a related field preferred.
ServSafe Manager Certification required.
TABC Certification required.
3–5 years of progressive Food & Beverage management experience required.
Previous experience in a resort, hotel, restaurant, or high-volume hospitality environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and labor management.
Experience leading, coaching, and developing hospitality teams.
Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and restaurant technology.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Schedule:
Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak season hours based on resort operational needs.
Participation in Manager-on-Duty rotations and special event coverage is required.
