Shift details: (M-F); Shift timings: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical systems including air conditioning units, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and other mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair appliances such as refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other related systems with precision.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site repairs or equipment transportation while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct comprehensive repairs on appliances and mechanical systems utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system upgrades in compliance with operational standards.
- Collaborate with team members to lead maintenance projects or assist in training new technicians on equipment repair procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times by following proper lockout/tagout procedures and wearing necessary protective gear.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician in a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen appliances, and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience operating HVAC & appliance technology tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) practices including equipment repair and preventive maintenance routines.
- Construction experience is a plus for understanding building infrastructure components.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to guide team members or lead maintenance projects effectively.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
