Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer – Robotics & AutomationAbout the Role
We are seeking a highly versatile and self‑directed Mechatronics Engineer to join our Engineering Services team. This role plays a critical part in the design, development, and optimization of complex robotic and automated systems.
You will be involved end‑to‑end—from early concept and prototyping through final implementation—applying a multidisciplinary approach across mechanical, electrical, and control/software engineering. This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in hands‑on environments and enjoys solving complex, real‑world engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex mechatronic and robotic systems
- Drive projects from concept, prototyping, and validation through production‑ready implementation
- Apply and switch seamlessly between mechanical, electrical, and control/software engineering principles
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools and generate detailed engineering drawings and BOMs
- Develop, integrate, and troubleshoot prototype hardware and electromechanical systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure system‑level performance and reliability
- Plan and execute technical tasks independently while meeting project timelines and quality expectations
- Identify, analyze, and resolve complex engineering issues using structured problem‑solving approaches
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven ability to design, build, and deploy complex prototype hardware
- Strong foundational knowledge across mechanical, electrical, and control/software domains
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, Fusion 360 (or similar)
- Experience producing detailed engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Demonstrated ability to plan and manage technical work autonomously
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
- Proactive, hands‑on, and results‑driven mindset
Preferred / Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience working with robotics, automation, or advanced electromechanical systems
- Exposure to control systems, sensors, actuators, and embedded hardware
- Experience in rapid prototyping environments and iterative design cycles
- Familiarity with system integration, testing, and validation

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 85000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 130000 per year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
