Position: Caregiver / Home Care Aide
Location: Palatine, IL, 60074
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
Monday through Sunday: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (17.5 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $18.75/hour
About the Client
Our client is a male who is wheelchair-bound and requires assistance with grooming, personal care, and daily living activities. Caregivers must be comfortable providing hands-on care and assisting with mobility needs.

Responsibilities
- Assist with transfers and mobility
- Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, hygiene)
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Assist with errands and transportation the medical appointments.
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition
- Follow individualized care plans
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Experience assisting wheelchair-bound clients and transfers preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, patient, and trustworthy attitude
