Nurse Practitioner – Sub-Investigator (Clinical Research)
Bioluminux Clinical Research New Jersey is seeking a dynamic and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing clinical research team as a Sub-Investigator. This role offers an exciting opportunity to participate in cutting-edge clinical trials while collaborating with investigators, research coordinators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to advance medical innovation and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct medical evaluations, physical examinations, and eligibility assessments for clinical trial participants.
- Perform study-related visits, monitor participant safety, and evaluate adverse events.
- Review laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic results in accordance with study protocols.
- Collaborate with the Principal Investigator in ensuring protocol compliance, participant safety, and data integrity.
- Assist with informed consent discussions and participant education.
- Document study assessments and medical findings accurately in electronic medical records and research systems.
- Participate in investigator meetings, sponsor visits, monitoring visits, and regulatory inspections.
- Contribute to protocol implementation, recruitment efforts, and retention strategies.
- Perform duties delegated by the Principal Investigator consistent with applicable regulations and study requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support the overall growth of the research program.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted New Jersey Nurse Practitioner license required.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Prior clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, urgent care, psychiatry, or other relevant specialties preferred.
- Clinical research experience is highly desirable, although not required.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA regulations, and human subject protection principles is an advantage.
- Experience with electronic medical records and clinical documentation systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.

Training and Development

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
