Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Property Manager specializing in Student Housing! In this energetic role, you will support the daily operations of our student housing apartment community dedicated to student living, ensuring a vibrant, well-maintained, and compliant environment. Your proactive approach will help foster positive relationships with residents, coordinate property activities, and assist in managing lease agreements and property maintenance. Responsibilities
- Assist in leasing activities, including client communication, property tours, and upselling rental units to prospective tenants.
- Manage lease or rental agreement processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards such as Landlord-Tenant Law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Support property maintenance coordination by liaising with vendors, tracking work orders through property management tools like Entrada, and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- The right hand person and assist the property manager
- Oversee tenant relations by handling inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective conflict management strategies, and maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, lease documents, and incident reports using property management software such as Entrada.
- Assist with budgeting tasks related to property operations and facilities management to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Contribute to team management efforts by collaborating with colleagues on property leasing initiatives and client relationship management activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management roles or student housing property management environments, ideally within student housing or multi-family communities.
- Familiarity with property management tools such as Entrada
- Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict resolution effectively while maintaining professionalism and positive client relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills with experience in office administration tasks including filing, data entry, and contract management.
- Prior experience in customer service roles within property management or sales environments is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while demonstrating strong phone etiquette and negotiation skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
