Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service with a positive attitude
- Scoop and serve ice cream and other frozen treats accurately and efficiently
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas and customer spaces
- Upsell additional toppings, desserts, or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures
- Restock supplies, clean workstations, and assist with food handling and sanitation protocols
- Support team members by bussing tables, managing queues, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants helps in managing high-volume periods effectively
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently while maintaining quality service
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry or café setting
- Customer service experience that demonstrates friendliness, patience, and effective communication skills
