Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. All dishes are hand washed in a 4-basin sink
- Maintain clean laundry for the kitchen staff, including towels and aprons
- Support food preparation efforts as needed.
- Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation techniques is a plus.
- Willingness to assist with various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
