American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring 18 months of permanent telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit setting

Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
-
Contract options ranging from 13-20 weeks

Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand

Minimum of 18 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required

Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS

NIHSS certification preferred

One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months

ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with up to 2 attempts allowed to achieve a passing score

Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement

Locals accepted at the same bill rate

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date

Assignments capped at 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning to any location within this health system
