VetSitting is a premium pet sitting company staffed exclusively by veterinary professionals. We provide specialized in-home care throughout Charlotte, with a particular focus on pets with medical needs or behavioral challenges. This may include diabetic pets requiring insulin injections, pets receiving subcutaneous fluids, and fearful or anxious pets who benefit from an experienced caregiver familiar with animal body language and fear-free handling. Although special-needs care is a large part of what we do, we also care for many healthy pets with routine care needs.
VetSitting gives veterinary professionals an opportunity to earn additional income while putting the skills they already use in the veterinary field to work in a flexible and rewarding setting.
Our services include drop-in visits, dog walking, in-home overnight pet sitting, and select additional services such as nail trims and anal gland expressions. Overnight stays take place in clients’ homes and are typically among our highest-paying assignments.
Applicants must have at least one year of professional experience in the veterinary field, feel comfortable administering SQ injections, and be confident handling fearful, nervous, or anxious pets. Fear Free certification is preferred but is not required.
We are currently seeking a dependable, experienced, and trustworthy veterinary professional to join our team. Candidates must have reliable transportation, a smartphone for communicating with clients and sending pet care updates, and be able to successfully complete a background and reference check.
If you’re interested in joining VetSitting, please submit your resume along with your general availability, the services you’re interested in providing, and a brief note about why you feel you would be a good fit for our team.
