We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Catering Chef to join and lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation and event catering. As the Catering Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our clients, ensuring that every event is memorable and delicious.
Duties
- Plan and execute catering menus for various events, including banquets, corporate functions, and celebrations.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
- Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the food industry with a focus on catering or banquet services.
- Strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Experience in team management with the ability to lead a diverse group of individuals.
- Knowledge of inventory control processes to manage supplies effectively.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with menu planning to create appealing offerings for various events.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Serv Safe certification.
