Grigg Farms is looking for a dependable, motivated Farm Mechanic & Fabricator to join our maintenance team. This position plays a key role in keeping our onion harvesting and packing equipment operating efficiently while helping fabricate custom metal projects that improve our facilities and equipment.

What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs on farm and packing equipment.
- Help keep our harvest line running efficiently during harvest season by troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed.
- Fabricate custom metal projects using steel and other materials.
Build and install items such as:
- Stairs
- Catwalks and walkways
- Safety rails
- Equipment supports and brackets
- Building and facility repairs
- Read measurements and make accurate layout calculations for fabrication projects.
- Cut, weld, grind, and assemble metal components.
- Work safely around heavy equipment and production machinery.
- Assist with general shop maintenance and other projects as assigned.
- Work closely with and report to the Shop Supervisor.
Qualifications Required
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to accurately measure, calculate, and fabricate metal projects.
- Basic math skills including fractions, angles, and measurements.
- Ability to safely operate fabrication tools and shop equipment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Preferred
- MIG and/or Stick welding experience.
- Previous fabrication experience.
- Experience repairing agricultural, industrial, or heavy equipment.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings or blueprints.
- Forklift or equipment operating experience.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
