Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and laundry operations, particularly within a hotel environment, and will be committed to providing exceptional service to our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Ensure that all cleaning materials are used according to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services related to housekeeping or laundry.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in all areas of responsibility.
Skills
- Proven experience in laundry operations, including knowledge of various fabrics and appropriate cleaning methods.
- Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in both housekeeping tasks and laundry care.
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
- Previous hotel experience is highly desirable, showcasing an understanding of hospitality standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
