The Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to efficiently perform all general apartment and facilities maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make ready work, trouble shooting and repair of most major and all minor mechanical systems.
- Responsible for unsupervised, timely completion of occupied apartment service requests in accordance with predefined company and property standards.
- Must be able to perform administrative duties for maintenance related activities.
- Prepare timely and accurate maintenance journals and summary documentation.
- Responsible for all aspects of maintenance of property, including resident satisfaction and contribution to property occupancy goals.
- Responsible for completion of all work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, in accordance with company safety standards, and for the relay of information regarding the property or operation that might constitute a physical or liability hazard.
- When called upon. perform groundskeeper responsibilities.
- Schedule outside vendors when required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree
- Must be proficient in most areas of apartment maintenance; plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, locks, appliances and life safety equipment.
- Must be able to function effectively in a customer service environment.
- Ability to comprehend instructions, read and write short correspondence and memos.
- Must be available for on call services.

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
